For today’s card project, I made a pair of mixed media butterfly cards.
The definition of mixed media projects is combining more than one medium to your project. Something as simple as stamping with ink and embossing powder would be a mixed media project. However, commonly we think of mixed media projects needing paints, pastes, inks, etc.
For today’s project, I combined some heat embossing, stenciling, paste and stamping to create a fun background. I then layered some simple die cuts and sentiments on top to finish the card. You can watch the entire process unfold here on my YouTube channel:
