Hello crafty friend! Happy New Year!!
Welcome back to the blog for another card making project! Today, I am sharing how I made these Just Because cards using some coordinating products from Concord and 9th.

I started this project by embossing my image and sentiments from the blended petals set with some gold embossing powder. Whenever I do heat embossing, I like to use my MISTI to make sure that I get a nice impression and an antistatic powder tool to help eliminate any stray embossing powder that wants to hang around.
After my embossing was done, I used my Make Art Stay-tion to hold the stencils in place. I also used some scrapbook.com mint tape to mask off any areas that I didn’t want to contaminate while blending. I used some mini Catherine Pooler inks and small blending brushes to apply the color. Once the blending was complete, I cut out the images and the sentiments using the coordinating dies. I also cut out a couple of extra die cuts from plain white cardstock to stack up behind my flowers and sentiments for dimension
For the background, I used the shimmering lights palette from Prima to add some shimmery splatters to the background. All that was left to do was adhere the card onto an A2 card base using some liquid glue.
I also made this card a few friends as shown below. I was able to drastically change up the look by changing the stamping on the floral to clear embossing ink and clear embossing over a black stamped image.
