Falalalala! An easy handmade Christmas card featuring scrapbook.com exclusives!

November 11, 2022

Hey Crafty Friends! Today I am sharing this easy Christmas card that features a fun layering stamp set. When I saw this Christmas trees stamp set from scrapbook.com, I knew I needed to treat myself to it. Ok, let’s get started…

Falalalala card featuring the Christmas trees stamp set from scrapbook.com

I started this card by stamping the large tree shadow using the in the park ink from Catherine Pooler using my Misti. This allowed me to ensure that I got a perfect impression as it gave me the option to double stamp. Next, I added in the detailed layer from the stamp set using the mardi gras ink pad. I added on the star using limoncello ink and also stamped in a tree trunk as well. Once my stamping was complete, I trimmed down my A2 panel to 3.75×5 inches.

Next, I trimmed down a few cardstock strips to 3/8″ from the cools cardstock pad. I adhered these to my card base on an angle and trimmed off the excess. For my sentiment, I used the falalala word die and trimmed out the sentiment using the same two greens from the cools cardstock pad and the yellow from the sherbet paper pad. I adhered the sentiments together using liquid glue, slightly offsetting them to show off all the colors.

Layered Chrstmas Tree stamp set was embellished with gold glitter pops of color!

At this point, all that was left to do is pop up my panel on some foam tape and embellish with some gold glitter pops of color. This card is a winner and would be a fun one to mass produce. It would also be fun to try out in some other color combos!
